Video: Traveling Through the Arctic with Photographer Vincent Munier

Wildlife photographer Vincent Munier traveled to the Arctic shoot images for his latest book. In order to capture the shots that he needed, Munier went to great lengths, skiing alone through the snow landscapes while dragging a sled filled with supplies, much like other polar explorers do. This video takes us on that journey with him, revealing not only the amazing, beautiful, and yet desolate, landscapes that exist above the Arctic Circle. But we also discover a surprising amount of wildlife. which the photographer captures so well. If you've ever wondered what it would like to travel through the cold, harsh places of our planet, you catch a glimpse of it here. You'll also see that those places are more alluring that you might imagine, and you might get a better understanding of why others are drawn there.

Video: Extremely Rare White Lions Captured on Video

In the animal kingdom, there are few creatures rarer than a white lion. In fact, only about ten are known to exist anywhere in the world. So, when a guide inside Singita Kruger National Park in South Africa first spotted one back in September of 2014, there was some skepticism about whether or not he had actually seen what he had claimed to see. But the filmmakers behind this clip were intrigued, and set out to see if they could find the animal. They discovered not one, but two white lions amongst a super-pride inside Kruger. As you'll see, these rare creatures are as amazing as you'd expect.

Video: Behind the Scenes on an Adventure Photography Shoot

We've seen some pretty impressive videos recently that follow adventure photographers as they head out into the wild to capture the perfect shot, and today I have another one for you. This latest short film comes our way courtesy of my friend Wouter Kingma, who works with with adventurers and outdoor athletes to capture them doing the things they love most. On a recent photoshoot, he traveled through the UAE and into Oman with a group of athletes who hiked, climbed, mountain biked, road cycled, camped, went trail running, and so much more. This video shows us how it all came together, and what it is like behind the scenes for an acclaimed adventure photographer. Those of us who are aspiring photographers ourselves will certainly enjoy the clip.

Video: The Adventurist - Photographer Eskil Digernes

This video takes us into the wilderness with Norwegian adventure photographer Eskil Digernes as he goes in search of stunning landscapes and destinations to capture with his camera. In the clip, Eskil talks about his approach to getting the right shot, while we watch him go to work in some incredibly beautiful and remote places. He also talks about what motivates him to do this job, and why he loves it so. Definitely some inspiring stuff, with great cinematography throughout the short film.

Video: Capturing the Silence of the North with Photographer Morten Hilmer

Danish photographer Morten Hilmer goes to great lengths to capture his amazing wildlife photos. Morton routinely ventures into the Arctic completely on his own, enduring harsh conditions, sub-zero temperatures, and difficult terrain just to get the perfect shot. In this video, we travel with him to get a sense of what it takes to be a world class photographer. As you'll see, he faces a number of challenges along the way, but the results can be incredibly rewarding.
